Final random inspection (Pre Shipment Inspection)  refers to a comprehensive inspection of the product after the production is completed and before the product is put into storage. Its purpose is to ensure product quality, prevent unqualified products from flowing to customers, and protect the reputation of the company.

Purpose and importance of final random inspection (PSI)
1.. Ensure product quality: Ensure that the product meets the specified quality requirements by comprehensively checking the performance, accuracy, safety and appearance of the product.

2. Prevent unqualified products from flowing out: Through inspection, unqualified products are eliminated to prevent them from being delivered to customers, reduce customer complaints and returns, and protect the reputation of the company.

3. An important basis for quality control: The final inspection results serve as an important basis for product release and delivery, ensuring that only qualified products can enter the sales and use links.

Process and standards for final random inspection:

1. Comprehensive inspection: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of all functions and performance of the product to ensure that there are no omissions.

2. Sampling inspection: If the production workers implement 100% self-inspection during the process processing, sampling inspection can generally be implemented before storage; otherwise, full inspection should be carried out by full-time inspection personnel.

3. Re-inspection: For products that need to be stored for a long time, such as military products, multiple re-inspections may be required to ensure that the product has not changed during storage.

The difference between final random inspection and other inspections:

1. Process inspection: Inspect the intermediate products in the product formation process to ensure the quality of each process.

2. Incoming inspection: Inspect the raw materials and parts to ensure that they meet the quality requirements.

3. Container loading inspection: It is to supervise the container loading process when the factory shipping the goods. It can effectively avoid loading incorrect goods, or incorrect quantity.
